The Scent Of A Room

Over the long weekend I received the most thoughtful hostess gift.  I'm so enamored of this sweet candle, that I thought I would share it here.  Jo Malone fragrances has partnered with Ashley Hicks, the son of the late legendary British interior designer, David Hicks.  Three classic Hicks prints have been reinterpreted for these limited edition candles.  I received the one above, which not only looks perfect in my green and purple office, but smells sublime!  I'm now considering purchasing the other two...

 

New To The Scene: Entra Magazine

Part of this Memorial Day weekend was dedicated to catching up with some of my favorite shelter and design magazines.  I'm happy to suggest one of the newest to this arena, Entra Magazine.  A new bi-monthly digital magazine, it's pretty impressive!  The founding team consists of all former Architectural Digest staffers, and the photos are reminiscent of that publication, in other words, beautiful!

Completely charmed by these adorable Eames elephants spotted in the Danish Design Store catalog this past weekend.  Little by little, it seems that elephants in design and decor are not only catching my eye, but marching one by one, and then two by two, right into my home!
