My first apartment had all white walls. As did my second. Like most rentals, paint colors came at a fee and wallpaper was pretty much discouraged. Confined to our plain white box, I dreamed of owning a house of my own one day and covering every surface with paint and prints. Fast forward to today, and that's exactly what we did. So naturally, white walls are now calling my name! Apparently, I now adore this look. When done right with a little imagination and colorful pops of furniture and accessories, plain white rooms can look very warm and inviting. In particular, I love the look of black accents in this context. Doesn't this charming residence from Style At Home, make a very convincing case for painting (or leaving) your walls white?
