One of America's most celebrated interior designers,
Sister Parish, was known for her use of color and her exuberantly bright patterns. As half of the legendary design team of
Parish-Hadley (founded in 1962 with Albert Hadley) Parish is best known for pioneering "American Country decor". Her signature looks included chintz, brocade, painted furniture and patchwork quilts paired with heirlooms and found treasures. Today, Sister Parish's name and aesthetics live on through her grand daughter, Susan Bartlett Crater and Libby Cameron, (one of Sister's proteges) the new forces behind
Sister Parish Designs. I knew when I first spotted
Sister Parish Design's booth at the NYC gift fair in January that this line would be perfect for
Zhush.com. We're proud to now offer some of these lovely home decor accessories on
the site. Look for even more items to be added in the near future as well!
