I fell hard for this charming beach bungalow, designed by Amelia T. Handegan, and seen in last month's Architectural Digest. Located in Folly Beach, South Carolina...the nerdy geek, English Major in me, can't resist the irony here. One of the definitions for "folly" found in Webster's Dictionary is "a costly ornamental building with no practical purpose," hardly how I would describe this perfect beach retreat. Quite the opposite, actually.
