The warm weather months all flit by in the blink of an eye, and we always seem to miss the right window of time for this... In a weird way, it's almost like a metaphor, too.  It's a reminder to take full advantage of summer before it's gone. Use our pool more. Today, I happily have a few more peeks of the progress that we're making.  For starters, we've gotten some mirrors (like this Jonathan Adler one above) and some art onto our stark white walls.  Our new <a href="http://thezhush.blogspot.com/2012/04/obsession-du-jour-cheryl-maeder.html" target="_blank">piece by local artist Cheryl Maeder</a>, makes me smile every time I enter the room.  Speaking of smiles,  <a href="http://www.decoratorsbest.com/prod-z__Zebrine___Blue_White-217705.aspx" target="_blank">blue zebrine wallpaper by Rose Cummings</a>, now graces our guest bathroom walls and ceiling!  Beach inspired sconces, <a href="http://www.maddiegdesigns.com/love-these-moth-designs-sconces/" target="_blank">by Moth Designs</a> were hung as well, and we made a lot of headway in our children's rooms too. It seems the possibilities for this room are endless.  This can be a bit daunting...but, having worked with several different professional designers on our home through the years, I've picked up some great tips. One of them, is to start with a rug.
